Description

Pirogue's first album is an airy and groovy odyssey, conceived as a series of sonic postcards. Recorded at the legendary La Frette studio, it favors an "old school" approach: tape takes, analog equipment, and spontaneous creativity in the studio. Will and Paul's music navigates between alternative pop, electronic sounds, and retro touches. Sublimated by meticulous production, Idésia blends pop, groove, and Californian softness, carried by Will's voice and romantic, ephemeral soundscapes. After a first EP very well received upon its release in 2022 (aired on France Inter, Nova, FIP), the duo, driven by a gentle and sunny energy, is gradually establishing itself as one of the most promising groups on the Parisian indie scene.
