Pink Rhythm was a short-lived project in the mid-1980s and one of the solo ventures of John Rocca, frontman of legendary UK jazz-funk group Freeez. Recorded at Miraval Studios in the South of France and originally released in 1985, the six tracks of ‘An 80s Love Affair’ make up a pure 1980s record, as refreshing today as it was back then with its drum machines, synthetic sounds, saxophones and keyboards, and include the singles ‘Melodies of Love’ and ‘India’ as well as four tracks available for the first time on vinyl.
