Paris Theatre 1970

Description

Pink Floyd was one of the first British symphonic and psychedelic rock bands. Unfettered by conventional pop formats, they were innovators of progressive rock. Pink Floyd is one of the best-selling bands of all time, with over 250 million records sold worldwide. After the release of their 5th studio album 'Atom Heart Mother' in 1970 (Hipgnosis' iconic album cover was the first without the band's name on the cover, just a cow in the pasture (the band's request was to put "something normal" on the cover). They toured extensively, and when they returned, they delved even further into experimentation. This seed was already planted here with the nearly 25-minute performance of Atom Heart Mother filling side B of this vinyl release.
