{"product_id":"pink-fairies_never-never-land_2025_disco-bertus-france","title":"Never Never Land","description":"The Pink Fairies were an English rock band from the London underground and psychedelic scene of the early 1970s. Their debut album Neverneverland, from 1971, is a mix of psychedelic sounds, proto-punk (\"Do It\"), rock (\"Teenage Rebel\" \u0026amp; \"Say You Love Me\") and even American R\u0026amp;B (on \"War Girl\") that showcases their broad style. The B-side of their first single \"Do It\" is also included, which was later covered by The Henry Rollins Band on their 1988 album Do It.Pink Fairies emerged from The Deviants, a loose band formed in 1967 by members of the West London hippie commune in Ladbroke Grove. Composed mainly of singer Mick Farren, guitarist Paul Rudolph, bassist Duncan Sanderson and drummer Russell Hunter, the group also included satellite members Marc Bolan, Steve Peregrine Took and players from the band Group X, later renamed Hawkwind. After a disastrous tour of the United States, Farren was fired and the remaining Deviants returned to London, where they recruited singer and former Pretty Things drummer Twink (born John Alder), who suggested the name Pink Fairies.Despite a reputation for mythical debauchery, the band remained largely an underground sensation before signing with Polydor and releasing three albums. This was the first of them and features the original line-up of Twink, Paul Rudolph, Russell Hunter and the late Duncan \"Sandy\" Sanderson.","brand":"Pink Fairies","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":57324939084120,"sku":null,"price":20250228.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0898\/4943\/0360\/files\/0805772647114.jpg?v=1779213222","url":"https:\/\/vinyles.com\/en\/products\/pink-fairies_never-never-land_2025_disco-bertus-france","provider":"Vinyles.com","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
