Description

Carl Fasch, son of Johann Friedrich, the famous chapel master of Zerbst, was a harpsichordist at the Prussian court from 1756 until his death. In the shadow of his colleague Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach and underutilized by Frederick II, he contributed to his own obscurity by destroying a large part of his work. Philippe Grisvard is working to reveal this original and visionary composer through a completely new program.
