Description
Rated PG is a collection of tracks from film soundtracks composed by Peter Gabriel. Having always loved the combination of the arts of cinema and music (he left his place in a film school at 17 to pursue a music career), Peter Gabriel had the opportunity to marry these two interests for the first time when he was asked to compose the music for the film Birdy by Alan Parker in 1985. Subsequently, several other soundtrack compositions for films like Martin Scorsese's The Last Temptation of Christ or The Way of Freedom have fueled his love for cinema, and Peter Gabriel has continued to collaborate on multiple films. Rated PG is the opportunity to gather on one disc a selection of songs by Peter Gabriel, written for or used in film productions.
