Pegboy is an American punk band from Chicago, Illinois, with a relatively large, loyal following. The band was formed in 1990 by John Haggerty (formerly of Naked Raygun on guitar), his brother Joe Haggerty (drums, formerly of The Effigies), Larry Damore (vocals/guitar), and Steve Saylors (bass). Damore and Saylors were both members of the Chicago-based hardcore band Bhopal Stiffs. *Strong Reaction* is Pegboy's debut album. It was released in 1991 on Quarterstick Records, an offshoot of Touch and Go Records.
