New York collective P.E. is releasing their third and final album, Oh!, on October 3 via Wharf Cat Records. Symbolizing a surprised exclamation marking their exit from the stage, Oh! embodies playful, fluid, vibrant, and slightly dangerous music. Formed in 2017 with the NOPE Tape series, the project has always cultivated a spirit of collective experimentation. This new opus continues this open approach with an expanded lineup, notably including Eleanor Friedberger (The Fiery Furnaces) on the main single Color Coordinator. The album explores a rich sonic palette, from the euphoric groove of Oh! and Color Coordinator to the tender duet The Fiction Writer between Veronica Torres and Jonny Campolo, passing through the city pop hues of (Do You Like) So Soet Purple On Time, before venturing into more abstract territories.
