P.E. Hewitt's albums released between 1968 and 1970 are among the best deep/spiritual jazz rarities that exist. The Now Again label is reissuing them exclusively on vinyl and as faithfully as possible, reproducing the hand-drawn covers. The vibraphonist and composer was barely 20 when he sold all 100 copies of his third album, Winter Winds. Since Washington, a blend of modal jazz and groove, was released in 1969. The last in the series, Jawbones, Hewitt's very first album, is coming soon.
