Released in 1999, *Terror Twilight* marked a break from Pavement’s usual working methods, with the band deciding to record with a renowned producer in an expensive studio. Yet, it is still very much a Pavement record, and a significant one at that. Like all the albums that preceded it, *Terror Twilight* confuses before it thrills. Twenty-two years later, the songs remain dark, strange, and well worth celebrating again. Matador is handling this exhaustive reissue of the band's fifth and final album, compiling forty-five tracks across four discs, including B-sides, demos, rehearsals, live recordings, and rarities, in addition to the remastered original tracklist.
