Paul's lyrics are the gravitational center of the sound constellations woven from the strings of the guitar and other acoustic instruments - including choral elements from the highly regarded British vocal ensemble VOCES8, and a lovely vocal appearance by Edie Brickell. True to the origin of the psalms as hymns meant to be sung rather than spoken, Seven Psalms harkens back to the very genesis of folk music: The Psalms of King David.
