« KAAS SINGS PIAF was conceived as a show. Interpreting the incomparable Edith Piaf requires courage, self-confidence, and a certain perspective on the experience of life. Was I ready for this adventure? I started by thinking in images and gradually I felt more confident to bring this ambitious project to life. I wanted it to be contemporary, theatrical, and urban at the same time, like a musical work full of notes and images. At every moment, it was important to me to respect both Edith Piaf and her work, but also the talent of Abel Korzeniowski in his own artistic approach. Finding my place in this universe while staying true to myself was not easy. Sometimes I admit, it hasn't always been easy. But in the end, the magic and chemistry worked. KAAS SINGS PIAF is my tribute, my mark of respect, to the artist of a lifetime. »
