At the end of the 1980s, R&B and soul were fully integrated into pop culture. However, it was the British band The Pasadenas that paid the most authentic tribute to the origins of these genres, drawing inspiration from the doo-wop of the 1950s, the Motown of the 1960s, and the funk and R&B of the 1970s. The single « Enchanted Lady », for example, was a tribute to Smokey Robinson and could easily have been mistaken for the original. The album's biggest hit was « Tribute (Right On) », which conquered Europe during the summer of 1988. The album itself was a huge success, with over a million copies sold. Today, it is finally back in stock for the first time on colored vinyl. « To Whom It May Concern » is available in a limited edition on red vinyl, with an insert.
