Paolo BALTARO is a talented and experienced Italian musician, singer, composer and producer of ARCANSIEL, also involved in other groups (MHMM, SADO). For his first album he is helped by many guests on guitars, violin, bass, saxophone. As THE HEALING ROAD Baltaro chose an LP+CD format, with a new digital sound improvement system, "Rewave system": this allows combining digital quality and the warmth of analog sound (from our good old vinyls). These nine songs (plus a bonus on the CD) blend pop-rock, progressive coloring on keyboards, and aggressive sequences à la PORCUPINE TREE. Paolo's voice, rough and expressive, as well as his talent as a producer, give the album a strong personality, and an obvious musical quality. It is an excellent collection of sophisticated songs with a progressive connotation.
