PAÏAKA thrives on diverse encounters and influences, forging a remarkable identity day by day, oscillating between energetic Reggae and ethereal roots. This original and resolutely modern recipe was found intact on *Alive Anyway*, released in January 2015, and further celebrated with the release of the *Alive in Many Ways* remix in October 2016. For the occasion, a collector's edition of the album, featuring 8 unreleased remixes, is available in a sumptuous double vinyl set. PAÏAKA – The Band: PAÏAKA, driven by inexhaustible enthusiasm, thrives on diverse encounters and influences, forging a remarkable identity day by day, oscillating between energetic Reggae and ethereal roots. This original and resolutely modern recipe was found intact on *Alive Anyway*, a danceable and warm album, a subtle alchemy of delicate harmonies and impeccable rhythms, interspersed with a touch of dub or openly leaning towards Jazz or Rock structures. Formed in 2010, PAÏAKA comprises 8 musicians and offers brassy roots reggae. In 4 years, the band has already performed over 150 concerts, both in France and abroad, alongside prestigious artists such as Ziggy Marley, Alpha Blondy, Clinton Fearon, The Abyssinians, and Alborosie, on Europe's biggest stages (Rototom Sunsplash, Reggae Sun Ska...). In January 2015, the band released their first album "Alive Anyway," a danceable, warm album matured through concerts and encounters. This was followed by a multi-month tour across France. Double Vinyl – Two Discs, Two Worlds: The first vinyl features 9 original tracks from the *Alive Anyway* album. A blend of energetic Reggae and swinging roots. The second features 8 tracks from the digital album *Alive in Many Ways*. Entrusted to several French and international Dub and Electro producers (Dubmatix, Teldem Com'Unity, Ashkabad, Mahom, The Dub Shepherds, James Laffite, The Imposture), this album allows for further exploration of Païaka's influence-laden worlds. Through these remixes, entrusted to artists who influence the musicians of Païaka, another facet of the band's music is revealed. It also shows that the bridges between Reggae and Bass music remain as strong as ever.
