PADDANG is a psychedelic rock trio formed in 2020 in Toulouse. Osees and King Crimson blasting on the car radio, and a band name inspired by an Indonesian surf spot. Far from hiding behind a wall of fuzz or a mountain of reverb, the three voices set the tone and invoke an urgent need to act in a world on the brink of chaos. After their first album Chasing Ghosts released in 2023, their second album Lost In Lizardland is now being released in May 2025. It is the soundtrack to a sci-fi road movie with a touch of a Herbertian prophecy. These 8 new tracks tell the story of Moros, a disillusioned young woman trying to survive in a world on the verge of collapse. A rich, captivating, and contrasting universe, reflecting PADDANG's sonic identity, where fuzz guitars rub shoulders with reverberated soundscapes, while voices unite to carve out a path of frantic rock, both raw and luminous. Lost In Lizardland develops a massive sound where the band's heavy psych, garage, and pop influences have never been more apparent.
