Released in 2007 in collaboration with DJ Cream, La Réconciliation marked a return to rap after the Lipopette Bar adventure. On the menu: remixes, unreleased tracks, classics, rarities. La Réconciliation offers its share of delights. Egotrips ("He ouais"), guests (Seven, Tedy Blow, Sadik Asken...), an incredible virtual encounter with Biggie Smalls, well-executed remixes ("Mama Lova") and a classic re-released from another mixtape produced at the time by Oxmo Puccino himself. Thus, we rediscover "les Jeunes du hall" initially released on Bâtiment B, an asphalt concentrate where Oxmo describes with dark precision the nights of these young people who "squat the stairs as if there were beds to lay down their sleepy sorrow."
