The undisputed champions of Middle Eastern psych rock are back with Dalya, their fifth studio album. A globetrotter, Ouzo Bazooka has delivered memorable sold-out shows in Tokyo and at the Fuji Rock Festival before the world shut down. Loaded with new ideas and joined by both a new drummer and a bassist, they began laying the groundwork for what would soon become Dalya. Stylistically, the album's influences trace back to the legends of psych and kraut rock from the late 60s and 70s, but with a strong Eastern psych influence. The result is a singular work, overflowing with creativity and wild instrumentation. Make no mistake, it's still the same old sweaty Eastern fuzz from Ouzo Bazooka.
