Driven by a dark, bass-heavy, and jazzy production, "Stress" showcased Pharoahe and Po's dynamic and shifting rhymes, as well as their electric chemistry from start to finish, creating an album that became an undisputed classic among hardcore hip-hop fans.- This classic album featured appearances from Q-Tip of A Tribe Called Quest and O.C., with guest production from Buckwild and Rockwilder.- In 1998, the album was included in The Source's ranking of the 100 best rap albums.
