Rooted in Brazilian rhythms but unafraid to explore new sonic territories, Orbital Ensemble has a unique vision of fusion music with a bold and contemporary approach.Created by Brazilian composer and guitarist Felipe Sena, the group features Toronto jazz heavyweights such as Emily Steinwall on flute and saxophone, Jon Catanus and Caleb Klager (Diskarte) on drums and bass, Artu Bastos on nylon guitar, Dan Mclay (Local Dish) and Ana Higuera on percussion, and Simon Outhit (OBGMs) on keyboards.
