{"product_id":"omoh_all-about-passion_2023_mdl","title":"All About Passion","description":"Back to basics. Simplify. Find oneself and reveal the truth of emotions. For their second album, titled All About Passion, these guidelines resonate as a leitmotif for the duo OMOH, composed of producers\/musicians Baptiste Homo and Clément Agapitos. Resolutely pop and born from a pacified urgency, All About Passion defines itself as a collection of eleven slices of life, approached as a series of sequence shots curving into the tunnel of a suave melancholy with new wave flavors. The nocturnal sky of their happy solitude is studded with references ranging from Talking Heads, Metronomy, Baxter Dury to The Cure, Joy Division, Vox Low, and Sleaford Mods. Clément and Baptiste met in Nîmes in 2007, through their respective bands at the time, Pass and Waterllillies. After three EPs, a tour opening for Julien Doré, a first album Party In Paris in 2019, and artistic production work (Julien Doré, Marie-Flore, Alex Beaupain, Ours), the duo returns in 2023 with a second album. It's a story of passion, romantic of course, but also an unconditional passion for music that has united them for 10 years. The museum-like voice of singer Marie-Flore embodies here the ideal woman, internalized, the enlightened consciousness. For the first time, the mixing and arrangements were entrusted to Polérik Rouvière and Florent Livet. Opening with \"All About Passion,\" the tone is set with an irresistible chorus and inspirations that could be found on the side of Metronomy, while \"With Justine\" recounts a romantic disillusionment in the Parisian tumult with its 80s accents. Earthy, dark disco, more electro and dark, the galloping \"Body\" evokes the fleeting fantasies of a night and touches upon the aesthetic of Poni Hoax's \"Antibodies.\" This darkness is immediately counterbalanced by \"Holly Molly,\" a falsely naive but very poppy ballad reminiscent of Belle and Sebastian or The Whitest Boy Alive. Ethereal, stratospheric, the almost ambient \"Youth\" delivers a contemplative meditation on time passing, constantly slipping away. Finally, \"Panic\" is a frantic race towards appeasement after a brutal breakup. A balm of appeasement reminiscent of Sébastien Tellier and Phoenix. Fragile, breathless, yet strangely pacified.","brand":"Omoh","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":55311888679256,"sku":null,"price":0.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0898\/4943\/0360\/files\/3700604742944.jpg?v=1760405600","url":"https:\/\/vinyles.com\/en\/products\/omoh_all-about-passion_2023_mdl","provider":"Vinyles.com","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
