Olivier Lorquin, who now heads the Maillol Museum and had previously released several albums with the Marseilles band La Connection Marseillaise on WEA and CBS, famously commissioning Frank Margerin for their covers, returns to his passion for music. Accompanied by his long-time companions, Olivier Kowalski, Frank Margerin, and Claude Gassian, and joined by a significant new recruit, Yan Péchin, Bashung's guitarist, he has recorded an album that is both modern and infused with his enduring musical loves (Elvis Presley, Gene Vincent, Eddie Cochran). Alternating between energetic tracks and romantic ballads, this transgenerational album presents itself as a true ode to rock.
