The initial foundations of the album were laid at Sam Evian's Flying Cloud Studios in upstate New York with intensely open and collaborative sessions. The album was then recorded over a six-day session in August 2019 at Post Farm alongside artist and producer Chris Cohen. In this idyllic setting, just outside Chicago, the songs came to life. 'Fantasize Your Ghost' more fully captures the band's magnetism and energy on stage. \"Selling Candy,\" a short, nostalgic yet explosive snapshot of childhood, is the perfect example.
