Description

Here is the first album, a manifesto by multi-instrumentalist and experimental artist: Alban Mercier. After several years of traveling, exploring, and delving into different styles and influences, Alban is in perpetual motion, an endless quest far from all boundaries, dedicated to breaking down genre barriers. In this full-length album, this multifaceted artist merges several of his influences, ranging from ritual music and myths of indigenous communities in the Far East to the sounds and early Dub rhythms of industrial pioneers like what a Scorn might produce... if they were still producing. He designed and etched the lines of this 8-track album and recorded them with the help of our beloved Paulie Jan at Agit Prop Studio at the end of summer 2022. As a complete artist, he offers personal artwork, full of roughness, to create an object that is uniquely his. Very personal and dedicated to his art.
