Odezenne returns with "Au Baccara," a new piece of a puzzle that has been coming together album after album for ten years. The first single "Nucléaire," unveiled two months ago, has already accumulated a million streams. After "Dolziger St. 2" in 2015, and the success of their "on-demand" tours, the band continues to develop its universe. Édouard Nardon remains at the helm of the artistic direction, and Bertrand Fresel is in charge of mixing. Odezenne has put its spontaneity to the test with a long-term studio project, particularly at the legendary Konk studio in London, where the band decided to record their album on tape, a collision of eras that defines the sound of the album. Impressionistic formulas coexist with bittersweet aphorisms, melancholic layers blend with powerful yet delicate beats — and everything elegantly contributes to creating a new LP where it's easy to get lost. While Odezenne evolves, it does so to better embrace paradoxes and to put everything back on the line; living "Au Baccara" is now the formula. Throughout the tracks, Odezenne asserts that losing is merely a state of mind; the important thing is to move forward and enjoy the journey. Eleven tracks make up this new album, once again imposing its own style.
