Odesza was born from the meeting of Mills and Knight in 2012 at Western Washington University. Their sound, both dreamlike and impactful (notably through the use of textured bass and live percussion) and their almost organic approach to production, have earned them a unique place in the world of electronic music, right from their first LP Summer's Gone. Odesza make songs, not just beats. Their latest album In Return received praise from the international press, from The Fader to Noisey, and earned them a Grammy nomination. They have headlined the biggest festivals in the world (in France: Les Vieilles Charrues, Le Printemps de Bourges, Solidays, Main Square and Le Pont du Gard) and have completed several sold-out tours. "The duo seems to have worked tirelessly, and the result already appears to meet our expectations. We are therefore eager to discover A Moment Apart, an album that promises to be a major highlight of 2017." Guettapen "A return as noticed as it is remarkable" Heure Bleue "The vocal pitch effects, the small pop guitars, and the shimmering arpeggios give this track an instrumental depth that shows how brilliant Odesza's ideas are" DJ Mag
