Snakehips Etcetera
Description
Nucleus's Elastic Rock is unquestionably a benchmark in jazz rock. A magnificent and vital first album, it was first released on Vertigo in 1970. Original copies are now very difficult to find and, like all Nucleus records, they age ridiculously well. These four Be With reissues, remastered from the original analog tapes, show why they deserve to be repressed. The genius trumpeter and visionary composer Ian Carr was one of the most respected British musicians of his time. He was a true pioneer and saw the potential of merging the worlds of jazz with rock, just as Miles Davis and The Tony Williams Lifetime did in the United States. In late 1969, following the dissolution of the Rendell-Carr quintet and tired of British jazz, Carr assembled the legendary Nucleus. Considering music as a continuous process, Nucleus refused to "recognize rigid boundaries" and strove to offer what it considered a "total musical experience".Buy Snakehips Etcetera at the best price
