Description

The four furies of Memphis are back with a second album! Following the release of their first full-length, We Are Nots, last year, the four American women of NOTS are back with their wild guitar rock! Cosmetic sees Natalie Hoffman (vocals and guitar), Charlotte Watson (drums), Meredith Lones (bass), and Alexandra Eastburn (synths) return with strength and a new confidence in their music after the success of the first album. We find the unpredictable guitars, celestial synths, the powerful rhythm section, and the whirlwinds of voices from the girls of Memphis in the single 'Entertain Me' which sets the tone for the album! The post-punk and psych rock influences blend here with engaged and disillusioned lyrics in the face of the political climate in the United States. Recorded in their beloved city of Tennessee with Keith Cooper and Andrew McCalla, key producers of the local scene, this new album from NOTS is even more powerful than the first and shows a true mastery of their sound!
