A Journey Too Far is Benedic Lamdin's fifth album under his main alias, Nostalgia 77. On this album, the author/guitarist/producer expands his creative partnership with German singer Josa Peit, who appears on 9 of the project's 11 tracks. Country-soul singer Jeb Loy Nichols performs on the remaining 2 tracks. Lamdin is highly sought after for his work as a producer and sound engineer. He has collaborated with Valerie June, Teotima, Lizbet Sempa, Jason Yarde, Gail Brand, Robert Stillman, Brass Mask, and Jamie Cullum, with whom he is scheduled to release an entire album in 2014.
