Legendary Jamaican singer, who notably contributed to the heyday of Augustus Pablo's Rockers International label, and former member of the Viceroys, Norris Reid is one of those artists who made Jamaican music famous in the 70s and 80s, collaborating with greats such as Sly and Robbie, Gregory Isaacs, and Linval Thompson. He released many singles under the aegis of producer Augustus Pablo, which he later covered as a member of the Viceroys. With them, he recorded 2 albums as well as their biggest hit "Heart Made Of Stone" before leaving Jamaica in the mid-80s for the United States. This compilation of recordings from 1978 to 1985 pays tribute to one of the key figures of reggae's golden age.
