Nola French Connection grooves, the brass section is powerful and the rhythm leaves no crowd indifferent. It is the multitude of influences that makes their music original. Blending hip-hop, soul, funk, and jazz, Nola offers a very energetic ensemble performance that takes on its full dimension in their live performances. Nola French Connection is a group of 9 musicians that was formed in November 2016 following a trip to New Orleans. The name of the group was chosen in homage to New Orleans (NO), Louisiana (LA), and iconic brass bands like the Dirty Dozen Brass Band or the Rebirth Brass Band. Their music is inspired by the rhythmic structures of New Orleans second line.
