The husband-and-wife creative duo Noizumi and Michael Green blended Eastern and Western elements, as well as 2D and 3D animation, to create something striking and unique. Similarly, the music of Blue Eye Samurai blends Eastern and Western influences, creating an immersive and enchanting sound that literally plunges the listener into its historical setting. Composer Amie Doherty went all out by recording authentic Japanese instruments such as the shakuhachi, shamisen, taiko, and hichiriki.
