The Dubhlinn Gardens: an evening in the high society of 18th century Dublin, where traditional music tends to become "civilized"... This program was born from flutist Anna Besson's passion for Irish traditional music since she was very young. As surprising as it may seem, it was the practice of the Irish flute that led her to the baroque flute... Reinoud Van Mechelen has also, for a few years now, begun training in traditional Irish singing with Karan Casey and other singers specialized in Sean-Nós. It is this dual practice of ancient music and traditional music that has led the ensemble A Nocte Temporis to propose a program that is both captivating and touching.
