The Night Marchers don't care about current trends; they have their own vision of the world, their own vision of music (and apparently of artwork too). A band of old, civilized Tarzans, or thawed-out and (slightly) re-styled cavemen... they are as foreign to this world as we are to theirs. Allez Allez is protest rock, against the thawing of Cro-Magnon men, against the exfiltration of Georges from the jungle. And since they won't go back, they struggle, scream, and have fun among themselves. Night Marchers features three-quarters of the band Hot Snakes—John Reis (Rocket From the Crypt, Drive Like Jehu, Sultans), Gar Wood (Beehive and the Barracudas, Tanner), and Jason Sinclair (Delta 72, Mule, Bardo Pond)—accompanied by Thomas Kitsos (former member of the Montreal destroy rock band CPC Gangbangs). The whole thing sounds pretty much like a combination of all those bands. This is their second album.
