Description

After Ian Curtis's death, the members of Joy Division decided to continue their recording career under the name New Order. They recorded their first album, 'Movement', between April 24 and May 4, 1981, at Strawberry Studios in Stockport. Produced by Martin Hannett, 'Movement' was released by Factory Records on November 11, 1981.
