The New Eves is a quartet from Brighton that has been labeled as one of the most enchanting new bands in the country. Somewhere between primitive rock'n'roll and transcendent ritual, an incomparable chemistry occurs when Violet Farrer (guitar, violin, vocals), Nina Winder-Lind (cello, guitar, vocals), Kate Mater (bass, vocals), and Ella Oona Russell (drums, flute, vocals) take the stage together. Today, they have distilled this visceral energy into their extraordinary debut album, The New Eve Is Rising: a source of inspiration channeled by a quartet capable of creating something greater than the sum of its parts. The New Eve Is Rising was written in Brighton and during an artist residency at the Cornish Bank, co-produced by The New Eves and Jack Osbourne (Bingo Fury) and recorded at Rockfield Studios and the parish church of Cotham in Bristol.
