NERVOSA unleashes a new wave of fury with their album *Slave Machine*, scheduled for April 3, 2026, via Napalm Records. This sixth opus sees the Brazilian modern thrash metal band unleash their inner beasts at breakneck speed and with formidable force. Having performed at the biggest metal festivals worldwide, from Wacken to Hellfest, and leaving a lasting impression on fans and critics, NERVOSA aims to solidify its position as a leader in the genre. With founding guitarist Prika Amaral now on vocals since their previous album, *Jailbreak* (2023), they assert themselves on stage with the force of a jackhammer. Working again with producer Martin Furia, the band bridges old-school power and critical modernity.
Twelve new songs show the quintet exploring their crushing style in an even more accomplished way. The opener “Impending Doom” settles in menacingly, using thunderous riffs and sharp percussion to establish the women's dominance on the scene. The eponymous track, “Slave Machine,” instantly accelerates the pace and adds a surprising alternative bridge to an already catchy chorus, revealing a slightly different side of these metal powerhouses. The next track, “Ghost Notes,” unleashes a storm of heavy, yet easily recognizable riffs, carried by driving percussion and Prika Amaral's ever-furious vocals, topped off with a stunning guitar solo. Through “Beast Of Burden,” NERVOSA reveals its most brutal side, while “You Are Not A Hero” offers a great chorus, providing *Slave Machine* with a true anthem. “Hate” unfolds with raw brutality, and “The New Empire” seeks destruction with melodic precision. “30 Seconds” reaches new heights, while “Crawl For Your Pride” combines NERVOSA's characteristic social commentary with hard-hitting songwriting. Throughout “Learn Or Repeat” and “The Call,” the band once again integrates modern groove elements with old-school vibes before *Slave Machine* rises one last time on the menacing “Speak In Fire.”
