Young Shakespeare, live inÃĐdit de 1971

Description

Young Shakespeare is an unreleased live performance from 1971, the oldest live recording ever made of the artist. Stripped of all artifice, this concert is a return to the essence of Neil Young's songs: an acoustic guitar, a piano, a harmonica. Recorded at the time for a German television and kept secret until now, the original tapes have been restored 50 years later, bringing back to life 2 tracks from "After the Gold Rush" and some tracks from Harvest "Ohio," "Cowgirl in the Sand," "Helpless," "Down by the River," "Sugar Mountain" but also "Old Man," "The Needle and the Damage Done," "A Man Needs a Maid," and "Heart Of Gold." Described by Neil Young himself "Young Shakespeare is a special event. For my fans, I would say it's the best ... one of my acoustic concerts with the purest sound we have in the archives."
