Ned Collette left Melbourne for Berlin two years ago after touring European stages with Joanna Newsom, Akron/Family, Bill Callahan, and Nina Nastasia. From his experimental past, he has evolved towards more classical musical structures, and this new album, "2" (his fourth!), blends experimental pop songwriting, musique concrète, and bleak folk atmospheres.
