With their new album "We Are The Gods That Tear Ourselves Apart," NECROTTED take a new step in their evolution and mark a major turning point in their history. As usual, this album is conceived as a concept album and, thanks to thought-provoking lyrics, seems even more mature than its predecessors. The band has grown and knows exactly what it wants to embody. A Fusion of Genres The new tracks skillfully navigate between genre boundaries, without this fluidity appearing forced. Death metal, black metal, and elements of slam and core intertwine to create an explosive mix: Thundering blast beats Oppressive slam passages Punchy breakdowns Memorable guitar riffs Linguistic and Vocal Identity The lyrics, primarily written in English, are once again accompanied by texts in the band's native language, German. This time, there are even Latin passages to discover. As always, everything is performed exclusively with inhuman-sounding guttural vocals. "We Are The Gods That Tear Ourselves Apart" will be released in April 2026 under the Reaper Entertainment label and is already almost certain to leave a lasting mark on the contemporary extreme metal scene.
