Produced by Jim Scott (Wilco, Tom Petty, Johnny Cash) in a huge villa in the hills of Santa Ynez, California, *Fade Away Diamond Time*, Neal Casal's very first solo album, would be the first time audiences would hear the intimate songwriting and delicate guitar playing that would become the foundations of his career. A founding member of Ryan Adams & The Cardinals and the Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Casal also recorded and toured with artists as diverse as Beachwood Sparks, Hard Working Americans, and Lucinda Williams, while also pursuing a rich solo career marked by great albums. Initially released in September 1995, *Fade Away Diamond Time* was praised by the press but, due to record label issues, did not achieve commercial success. Over time, however, the album became a cult classic that will finally receive a worthy release on October 23, 2020. Neal Casal tragically passed away on August 26, 2019. His music will not fade away.
