Cambuzat, Gianna Greco (also known for their work with Ifriqiyya Electrique) and the Ndöep community in Senegal. The project was born from the duo's quest to trace the origins of North African rituals, which led them to the Lebu community in Cape Verde, an isolated region in the far west of Africa.The album skillfully fuses the duo's electronic avant-rock style with the captivating vocal chants and intense rhythmic percussion of the Ndöep community.
