Produced by Brad Cook (Bon Iver, Kevin Morby) and recorded live at Sonic Ranch studios in El Paso, Texas, 'South Of Here', Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats' fourth studio album, is characterized by introspection while also highlighting the collective. "This album describes my struggles and insecurities, as well as stories from my own life," comments Rateliff. For these 11 new original tracks, Nathaniel Rateliff brought in the full Night Sweats rhythm section to give a cinematic character and vibrant soul-rock dynamic to a collection of brutally autobiographical songs, yet permeated by a quest for salvation and redemption.
