"My last big thrills have been the latest NÄO Live Band project." Johan from Ez3kiel. NÄO truly started in 2002 and has consisted of four members since 2010. With a computer at his fingertips and a head full of ideas from the start, Pierre-André, the mastermind behind the electronic project, was joined by a drummer, a guitarist, and a video creator. Whether in the studio or live, NÄO develops melancholic and ethereal music that oscillates between contained rage and digital flight. Like a surgeon, Pierre-André brilliantly manipulates captivating melodies and downtempo beats. His taste for synthetic textures and skillfully crafted keyboard arrangements gives his music a strange atmosphere. A true electronic cocooning that contributes to the listener's immersion in NÄO's universe. Thibaut (drums) and Jordan (guitarist) provide this musical enchantment with impulsive rhythms and sharp, noise-oriented riffs that cleverly blend into this world. The band's signature style is built on electronic musical influences such as Amon Tobin, Nine Inch Nails, Krush, and 65daysofstatics. The noticeable presence of video in the background on stage is created and directed by Mathieu. It intervenes throughout the set, interacts with the tracks, and contributes to the audience's immersion. NÄO signed with the German label Ant Zen at the end of 2011 and Jarring Effects in February 2012. NÄO's electronic odyssey is far from over.
