"Point Blank" is the only studio album by Max Cavalera (Sepultura) and Alex Newport (Fudge Tunnel) united under the name Nailbomb, and it is one of the greatest underground metal albums of the 90s. This album blends industrial metal and thrash for a surprising and incredible result. The guitars unleash aggressive riffs that create an atmosphere of fury and anguish. The drums pound at a running pace, and the bass follows the guitars while occasionally offering its own riffs. Another strong point of "Point Blank": the vocals. Max and Alex sing as a duo, and their performance is remarkable. "Point Blank" is a memorable concept album, and even today (with six bonus tracks), it proves that industrial metal supergroup albums are not all doomed to failure.
