In ten elegantly recorded and arranged songs, Myles Sanko captures the exhilarating spirit of his many outstanding live performances on the European jazz festival and club circuit in recent years. "This album is my most personal album to date," says Myles Sanko. "Each song is a memory of love, a love story, good or bad, happy or sad. Love is not always as we imagine it in fairy tales, but a work in progress as long as we choose to love. Over the years, I have written love songs, and most of them have some reality but also a lot of fiction. Perhaps it was because I wasn't really ready to share that part of me. I would say that becoming a father changed my perspective and made me a little braver, more tolerant, and more open." The musicians are one of the main reasons for the positive balance between the sound and spirit of "Memories Of Love." Myles Sanko recorded the album with the band he has toured with for the past eight years. Myles Sanko has been living in France for a few years. He is now considered, by critics and fans alike, to be the successor to great soul artists like BILL WITHERS, OTIS REDDING, AL GREEN, and JAMES BROWN.
