Bleu Noir is Mylène Farmer's eighth studio album, released by Polydor digitally on November 29, 2010, and physically on December 6, 2010. It is the first album for which the singer did not collaborate with Laurent Boutonnat, instead producing it herself, with Moby, the British group Archive, and RedOne. The lyrics (with one exception) were still written by Mylène Farmer. Comprising twelve tracks, this album emphasizes the singer's voice more, set against ethereal or dark music, with the two tracks by RedOne adding a more upbeat feel.
