The box set's slipcase protects a 40-page hardcover book with an embossed cover. This book features photos, a new in-depth interview with the band by Mark Beaumont about the album's genesis and recording, and a Q&A with producer Rich Costey. Originally released in 2003, "Absolution" includes the singles "Stockholm Syndrome," "Time is Running Out," "Hysteria," "Sing for Absolution," "Apocalypse Please," "Butterflies and Hurricanes," and more.
