The label has invoked necromancers like Norway's Jenny Hval, the legendary Wilderness, and Bloomington post-rock heroes Tammar to deliver new tracks. Mysterious noise outfits like Canada's Wold and Oslo's Some Nerve have delivered on their promise to split our skulls in two. There are also two affectionate tributes to Jagjaguwar's patron saint, John Prine. Atsushi Miura, who once allowed founder Darius Van Arman to host shows in the basement of the sushi restaurant he ran, dedicates a song to Darius and, in the other, humorously takes on the college town where he settled for all these years.
