Description

In August 1965, amid social unrest, the legendary soul label Stax organized two evenings at the 5-4 Ballroom in Los Angeles, hosting among others Rufus Thomas, Booker T, William Bell, and Carla Thomas. These concerts were first released in 1991. Entitled Stax Revue: Live in '65, this new expanded edition contains additional tracks captured at the Club Paradise in Memphis and was remastered by Joe Tarantino.
